Whilst Harrogate is a great town in which to stay, if you venture a little further afield you can explore stunning Yorkshire countryside, world heritage sites and neighbouring historic city of York.
Within a very short drive are Ripley Castle, historic Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal and picturesque town of Knaresborough set on the banks of the River Nidd. Head in to the Yorkshire Dales and you have the bustling town of Pateley Bridge and Cathedral City of Ripon, together with the market town of Masham – home to both Theakstons and Black Sheep Brewery.
Harrogate Convention Centre is within easy reach of the North York Moors National Park with its bleak moorland and rugged coastline. Both the Dales and Moors are ideal for walking, cycling or just a scenic drive.
For more on what to see and do during your visit go to the Welcome to Yorkshire and Visit Harrogate websites or drop in to the Tourist Information Centre on Crescent Road.
